Job Description:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

The Governors of Melin Primary School wish to appoint a responsible, reliable person for the post of Teaching Assistant. The post will be temporary until 31st August 2026 due to an increase in pupil numbers. The successful applicant will work with groups of children and be part of a team of teaching assistants across the primary phase.

The position is for 27½ hours per week over 39 weeks.

The Governors seek candidates with the following qualities:

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
