Pinfold Primary School is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with Year 1 pupils. The role is permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only, starting 1 September 2026. Grade D Points 7-10, salary £26,403–£27,694. This is a supportive, team-focused position within a trusted Lancashire Trust framework.

The successful candidate will engage and inspire children, demonstrate enthusiasm, and work flexibly with staff to maintain high standards of learning and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or other suitable qualification/experience.
• Experience as an classroom practitioner.
• Commitment to high standards and pupil development.

Responsibilities
