Job summary

Justteachers Ltd in Birmingham is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school on a full-time basis from September 2026. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning, build confidence and achieve personal goals within a supportive education environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting learners.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
