Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is recruiting a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Evesham from September 2026. This full-time role supports pupils across the Primary Phase (EYFS, KS1, KS2) with Autism, SEMH, SLD and complex learning needs.

You will provide individualised 1:1 and small group support, assist with personalised learning activities, promote communication and social development, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have SEN experience, particularly with Autism and complex needs.
• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of EYFS and Primary curriculum approaches is expected.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Assist delivery of personalised learning activities under the class teacher's guidance.
• Promote pupil engagement, communication and social development.
• Implement behaviour support strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to achieve best outcomes.

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Evesham from September 2026. This full-time position will involve supporting pupils across the Primary Phase, including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, who have a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, SLD and Complex Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support the delivery of personalised learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.

• Implement behaviour support strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Assist pupils with personal care where required.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to observations and record keeping.
• Support the creation of a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Pre-requisites:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and complex needs.
• Knowledge of EYFS and Primary curriculum approaches.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and adaptable in challenging situations.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
