Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to provide day-to-day cover across Gloucester nurseries. The role supports multiple rooms and age groups, helping with routines, activities and development in a busy early years setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, have nursery experience, and be confident with EYFS. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential for success in a varied daily schedule.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of nurseries in Gloucester in their search for Level 2 Nursery Practitioners as day-to-day cover. The setting provides a busy and engaging environment where children are supported throughout their early years development.

The Level 2 Nursery Practitioner will work on a day-to-day cover basis, working flexibly across the whole nursery and supporting different rooms and age groups depending on the needs of the setting. The successful Level 2 Nursery Practitioner will be expected to support daily routines, activities, learning and development, personal care and the general running of the nursery, with responsibilities varying from day to day.

The successful Level 2 Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Confidence working across different nursery rooms and age groups
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
