Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to provide day-to-day cover across Gloucester nurseries. The role supports multiple rooms and age groups, helping with routines, activities and development in a busy early years setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, have nursery experience, and be confident with EYFS. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential for success in a varied daily schedule.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• Confidence working across different nursery rooms and age groups.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day cover across the nursery, across rooms and age groups.
• Assist with daily routines, activities and development tasks.
• Contribute to personal care and the general running of the nursery.
