Veritas Education is seeking a Level 2 EYFS Practitioner to support a child with ASD on a one-to-one basis in a Lancaster nursery, from September 2026 to April 2027, 9:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The role focuses on encouraging communication, engagement and social interaction, while implementing strategies to support emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with nursery staff, SEN professionals and parents to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming nursery in Lancaster seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 2 EYFS Practitioner to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2026 until April 2027.
This rewarding role involves providing one-to-one support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who is currently attending the nursery before transitioning to a specialist SEN school placement in April 2027.
The child is non-verbal, mobile and active, and can occasionally display behaviours that challenge when feeling overwhelmed or unable to communicate their needs. The successful candidate will be patient, resilient, and committed to creating a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
