We are looking for a passionate and driven Teaching Assistant to assist in the educational, personal, and social development of students under the direction and guidance of colleagues at Woodlands Academy.
We are seeking someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people, both within and beyond the classroom. You will take responsibility for implementing planned learning activities and teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to children’s responses as appropriate. Working collaboratively with a wide range of academy staff at all levels, you will help deliver excellent educational experiences and champion the life chances of all children in our academy.
Through ongoing training and development, you will be fully supported in your role. This is a term-time-only position, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children, and is eager to grow within a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. Most of the working hours (2.5 days) of the role is working in our Nursery provision. The remainder of the time will be working mostly in our KS1 class.
Please note that you must hold a Level 3 qualification to be considered for this role, as this is required for our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) ratios.
