Job summary

Charters Estate Agents is opening a new Brighton office and seeks a driven Lettings Valuer to grow the lettings book. You will build landlord relationships, conduct rental valuations and drive new business in a growing team within the Lomond network.

Your role includes providing excellent service, navigating UK lettings regulations, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations in a vibrant, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven lettings background required.
• Knowledge of UK lettings regulations essential.
• ARLA or equivalent qualification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong organisation, communication and negotiation skills expected.
• Self-motivated and proactive performer in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and win landlords.
• Conduct rental valuations and referrals for market appraisals.
• Support mortgage appointment referrals and client relations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and adapt to changing systems.

We’re thrilled to be opening our new Brighton office soon, and we’re looking for a passionate, driven and talented Lettings Valuer to join us on this exciting journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing team, build strong relationships with landlords, win new business and play a key role in the success of our brand-new office!

This is a full-time position, with an OTE up to £60,000.

Key responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities
• Prospect for potential clients and conduct rental valuations
• Referrals for Market Appraisals and Mortgage appointments
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Adapt to new systems and changing environments
• Assist with all aspects of the business when needed
• Work closely with the property management team and operational support teams

We’re looking for:

• Proven lettings background
• Knowledge of UK lettings regulations
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• ARLA or equivalent qualification or willingness to obtain
• Strong organisation, communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, motivated and driven individual
