Job summary

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are collaborating with a Witney-based property business to recruit a Lettings Portfolio Manager. You will oversee in-house tenancies from the Witney office and act as the primary contact for external letting agents.

The role covers tenant screening, new lets, applications, referencing, renewals and rent reviews, with a focus on compliance, documentation, and keeping rents under review. A Full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of residential tenancies from the Witney office.

Position: Lettings Portfolio Manager

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £38,000+ (Dependent on Experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established business in Witney, working across a wide spread of sectors, who are looking to recruit a Lettings Portfolio Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and continued development of their residential property portfolio.

As Lettings Portfolio Manager, you will manage in-house tenancies from the Witney office and be the main point of contact for external letting agents. The role is varied, from tenant screening and applicant meetings, new lets, applications and referencing, agreements and renewals, rent reviews, notices, and check-ins and check-outs.

The successful Lettings Portfolio Manager will monitor rents and keep them under review, make sure rent is collected and deal with arrears, and working with tenants, agents, accounts and solicitors where needed. You will coordinate inspections, inventories, pre-tenancy works and maintenance, keep the homes to a high standard, and look after all compliance. You will also keep accurate records, report to the directors, and watch the local rental market to support the portfolio and future acquisitions.

This will suit someone organised, proactive and commercially minded. As Lettings Portfolio Manager, you must have strong people skills and the ability to communicate at all levels whether that be internally or with a tenant, contractor or lettings agent. Strong organisational skills and the ability to complete work to an exceptionally high standard will also be important in this role.

Requirements

• As this role will involve arranging and attending regular property visits, you must hold a Full UK driving licence
