Job summary

Office-based position with immediate start. Full-time hours (37 per week) Mon-Fri, offering competitive rates and the chance to support residents in accessing suitable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housing, lettings or allocations.
• Understanding of housing legislation and tenancy processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to obtain a clear Basic DBS check.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload.

£18.65 per hour PAYE / £24.65 per hour Umbrella

37 hours per week (7.2 hours per day, Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the allocation and letting of council and partner housing properties.
• Conducting property viewings and sign-up appointments.
• Liaising with applicants, tenants, housing providers and internal departments.
• Ensuring lettings are completed efficiently and in line with housing policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management systems.
• Supporting applicants throughout the housing and lettings process.
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving enquiries in a timely manner.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a housing, lettings or allocations role.

Good understanding of housing legislation, allocations, or tenancy processes.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Access to your own vehicle for work purposes.

Ability to obtain a clear Basic DBS check.

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
