Job summary

Magnus James is looking for a Lettings Valuer/Negotiator to join their Levenshulme branch. The role involves valuing properties, arranging market appraisals, negotiating contracts and fees, and handling applicant enquiries and viewings.

You will work within an established team and have clear opportunities for progression. The ideal candidate has lettings experience, knowledge of current legislation, strong time management and excellent communication skills, plus a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lettings is essential.
• Up to date knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord / tenant laws is essential.
• Experience of conducting lettings valuations is required for this role.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Confidence in dealing with a variety of people both face to face, over the phone and in person.
• Able to work as part of a team but also super efficient and self motivated to work alone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Articulate, professional and well accustomed to a client facing role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills.
• Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment.
• A positive and adaptive attitude to help the team achieve their goals.
• Pro-active and a desire to achieve results.
• Full driving license required.

An exceptionally rare opportunity has arisen for a strong, business winning Lettings Valuer / Negotiator to join a well established, highly respected, multi branch independent agent in Levenshulme.

This role will see you working within an established branch team, carrying out valuations, viewings and dealing with applications. The vacancy has arisen due to internal progression.

Lettings Valuer / Negotiator – Benefits

• A basic salary of 27-28k DOE
• Commission on top, with an OTE of 36-38k
