Job summary

Walker & Sloan, Exeter-based, is seeking a Senior Lettings Negotiator to lead lettings activities in the Exeter area. You will generate lets, carry out valuations, grow the managed portfolio and deliver an exceptional service to landlords and tenants.

The role offers uncapped commission, clear career progression, strong training and a collaborative environment as you develop relationships in the local market and support the lettings team to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience within residential lettings.
• Strong knowledge of the lettings process.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants.
• Carry out viewings, negotiate offers and progress tenancies.
• Generate and carry out rental valuations.
• Win new landlord instructions and identify opportunities to grow the managed portfolio.
• Manage relets and ensure properties are brought back to market effectively.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
• Build your profile and develop relationships across the local market.
• Support and motivate other members of the lettings team.
• Play a key role in achieving the department's targets and continued growth.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded lettings professional who enjoys winning business, developing landlord relationships and delivering a first-class service.

You could already be a Senior Lettings Negotiator, or an experienced Lettings Negotiator looking to take the next step in your career.

You'll have:

• Experience within residential lettings.
• Strong knowledge of the lettings process.
• Experience carrying out rental valuations would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A proactive and results-driven approach.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• ARLA qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
