Carter Jonas in Marlborough is seeking an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join our busy Residential Lettings team. You will manage enquiries, book and conduct viewings, negotiate offers, and progress tenancies from initial enquiry through to completion with full compliance. A proactive, customer‑facing professional with knowledge of the local market is essential.

Formación

• Previous experience in residential lettings, estate agency or a customer-facing sales environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proactive and driven approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Register applicants using our property management system (Reapit).
• Proactively manage applicant enquiries, matching suitable properties and maintaining contact.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings, providing a professional and informative experience for prospective tenants.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to secure successful lettings.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, relationship building and market awareness.
• Source available properties and collaborate with colleagues and external agents.
• Prepare and progress tenancy documentation in line with procedures and legislative requirements.
• Ensure all lettings activities comply with SOPs.
• Provide advice, market feedback and support to landlords and tenants.
• Conduct market appraisals when required and assist with securing new instructions.
• Complete property take-on processes following successful instructions.
