Lettings Negotiator

Ongoing temporary

Sheffield

Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Lettings Negotiator for a local property manager on an ongoing temporary basis.

The Lettings Negotiator will let and manage the move in and outs, complete the checks, pre move ins and handovers from tenants along with other lettings duties.

The Lettings Negotiator will be based on-site at a Private Landlords Build to Rent scheme in Sheffield.

Duties of the Lettings Negotiator:

  1. Let and manage the associations' and private Landlords market rent portfolio, ensuring void times are minimised, the rents achieved are maximised and the schemes are managed to a high standard.
  2. Manage the day-to-day lettings at the property including but not limited to; arranging marketing, keeping website entries up to date, conducting viewings, key management, processing applicants through referencing and credit checks, completing the tenancy sign up including the property inventory, conducting pre and post termination inspections and processing deposits through the Deposit Protection Scheme.
  3. Engage in face-to-face resident interaction, building a good relationship and rapport with customers ensuring they feel welcome, safe and at home.
  4. Schedule and carry out periodic property inspections, instruct associated follow-up works and liaise with customers where necessary.
  5. Ensure defects, responsive, planned and void repairs are of a high standard, delivered well, are within budgets and in accordance with legislative requirements.

Requirements of the Lettings Negotiator:

  1. Experience of working within a private sector lettings or estate agency team.
  2. Ability to travel to the property in Sheffield.
