Trimble is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to support the Direct Sales function of our AECO business.

In this position, you’ll lead sales operations initiatives and foster strong stakeholder relationships across Europe. Your role will focus on leveraging your expertise in sales strategy and planning, sales performance, and process improvement & technology. You’ll work closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, Product GMs, and other teams across EMEA and globally. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, enhancing partner sales processes, and providing data-driven insights to support revenue growth.

What Will You Do?
  • Make fair, rigorous, and consistent decisions and/or recommendations on sales policies, incentive eligibility, rules of engagement, performance plans, etc., in partnership with PX and Sales Leadership.
  • Research and provide input on the sales tech stack, evaluate, and recommend new tools to enhance sales effectiveness, ensuring partner sales processes adhere to policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Partner with senior Sales Leadership and stakeholders to support and enable the sales organization to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage a team of Sales Analysts, focusing on their development, training, and success in their roles.
Job Location:

This role is open to remote work within the UK, ideally near one of our offices in London, Milton Keynes, Leeds, or Newcastle. There will be semi-regular travel to these offices and occasional overseas travel to EMEA and the US.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a regional Sales Operations team, developing strategies, tactics, and technologies to exceed growth targets.
  2. Conduct strategic planning, including territory design and capacity planning, collaborating with senior leaders.
  3. Establish and oversee key performance metrics and dashboards to optimize sales execution.
  4. Participate in projects supporting growth initiatives, including CRM evaluation and process optimization.
  5. Design and implement motivating sales compensation and incentive programs.
  6. Improve sales commission processes, policies, and documentation.
  7. Prepare and present executive summaries to leadership regularly.
Skills & Experience Needed
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or similar roles in a technology/SaaS environment.
  • Proven leadership in building and managing successful teams.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Suite, Excel, Qliksense, Domo, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and handle confidential information with discretion.
