Job description

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Manager with demonstrable experience in selling to Local Authorities, County Councils, and the public sector. We are a respected provider of high-quality medical technology equipment designed to help elderly and disabled people live independently, stay safe, and maintain control of their health and well-being.

Basic Salary

£55,000 - £65,000

Job Description

As our Sales Manager, you will develop sales across multiple accounts and prospects, focusing on our range of products and projects. This role is key in driving growth in new market developments, creating opportunities for rapid sales expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • 70% new business development and 30% account management, focusing on profitable opportunities and building lasting relationships.
  • Launch a new product that could revolutionise older adult care, alongside our established TEC product line.
  • Create and execute your own business plan, including territory mapping and diary management.
  • Engage with Local Authorities and NHS teams to follow up on sales opportunities and foster excellent customer relations.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support customers with product configurations and portal management.
  • Develop training materials and provide technical training to clients and stakeholders.
  • Expand business into new channels, especially Housing Associations.
Person Specification

Successful candidates will have strong experience in the public sector, working with local authorities, housing associations, or NHS organisations. Additionally, you should demonstrate:

  • Understanding or eagerness to learn about medical technology products and their applications.
  • Experience in winning new business with multiple stakeholders, including sales tenders.
  • A methodical approach to creating and implementing structured processes.
  • Resilience and creativity in problem-solving, with the ability to understand technical concepts affecting patients.
