Job summary

Magnus James is recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator in Birmingham city centre. You will work with the lettings team to hit targets, handle client inquiries, and negotiate tenancies while ensuring properties are ready for move-in.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £30,000 base plus commission (OTE £37,000), with on-site parking and 20 days' holiday. A full driving licence and strong IT skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in lettings or similar is advantageous.
• Sales and customer service experience is essential.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with the lettings team to achieve targets and ensure compliance with legal documentation.
• Engage with clients, handling telephone and face-to-face inquiries with excellent service.
• Conduct property viewings, gather feedback and negotiate tenancies.
• Oversee move-ins and ensure properties are prepared.
• Maintain relationships with landlords and tenants and support the brand locally.

Your Role as a Lettings Negotiator:

• Work collaboratively with the lettings team to achieve targets and ensure compliance with legal documentation
• Engage with clients, handling telephone and face-to-face inquiries with exceptional customer service
• Conduct property viewings, gather feedback, and negotiate tenancies with landlords and tenants
• Oversee smooth move-ins, ensuring properties are fully prepared
• Maintain strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, offering expert guidance throughout the process
• Play a key role in strengthening the brand in the local market

Who We're Looking For:

• Experience in a Lettings Negotiator role (or similar) is advantageous
• Sales & customer service experience – you're a natural with people!
• Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
• A full driving license & access to a vehicle
• Ambitious, motivated, and eager to progress in the ever evolving world of lettings
