Remarkable Jobs is recruiting on behalf of an independent estate agency in Farnborough for a Lettings Manager. You will lead the lettings team, drive performance, and develop new landlord relationships while delivering excellent customer service.

Working with hands-on directors, you will shape the lettings strategy, manage market appraisals, valuations, and campaigns across Farnborough and surrounding areas, ensuring compliance and consistent growth in instructions and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential lettings at Senior Lettings Negotiator, Assistant Lettings Manager or Lettings Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of the lettings process, valuations and related legislation.
• Track record of generating new business, winning instructions and meeting targets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Lettings Manager to take a leading role within an established agency, driving lettings performance, developing new business and delivering exceptional customer service.

Working closely with hands-on directors, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the continued success and growth of the lettings department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
• Drive lettings performance, identifying opportunities to increase instructions, revenue and market share.
• Proactively generate new business, building relationships with landlords, investors and prospective clients.
• Conduct market appraisals and rental valuations, providing expert advice on local market conditions.
• Manage and motivate the lettings team, supporting individual performance and development.
• Oversee property marketing, enquiries, viewings, negotiations and tenancy progression.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and key stakeholders.
• Monitor departmental performance, ensuring targets and business objectives are achieved.
• Ensure lettings activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures.
• Handle complex enquiries and resolve issues professionally, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the directors to identify opportunities for business development and continued growth.
• Maintain an excellent understanding of the local lettings market, competitor activity and rental trends.

About You

• Proven experience within residential lettings, ideally at Senior Lettings Negotiator, Assistant Lettings Manager or Lettings Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of the residential lettings process, rental valuations and relevant property legislation.
• A successful track record of generating new business, winning instructions and achieving targets.
• Confident leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and motivated to drive business growth.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of Farnborough and surrounding property markets would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
