Harte Recruitment is working with a growing residential property business looking for a hands-on Lettings Manager to lead its front-line lettings operation.

This role requires leadership, coaching and staff development, with a focus on driving conversion, growing the managed portfolio and achieving performance budgets.

Office-based in Darlington with uncapped commission and OTE around £45k.

Qualifications

• Experienced Lettings Manager or senior lettings professional.
• Genuine people-management, coaching and staff-development experience.
• Strong residential lettings knowledge.
• Commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership of performance.
• Able to list and win new landlord instructions.

The Package:

• Up to £35,000 D.O.E basic salary
• OTE circa £45,000, with scope to earn more as the business grows
• Performance-led, uncapped commission structure
• Commissions awarded at 2.5%, 5% and 7.5% (will speak through budgets achieved at interview stage)
• Commission measured and paid quarterly on cumulative performance

This role needs more than a top individual biller. They’re looking for somebody who can lead, coach and develop people, understand where individuals need support and create a team that consistently performs.

Property Management and maintenance are handled by a separate back-office function, allowing you to concentrate on lettings, leadership and growth.
