Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd in Reading is seeking a Lettings Coordinator to join a fast-growing team in the Build to Rent and Private Rented Sector. You will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, manage enquiries from initial interest to viewings, and coordinate appointments with Lettings Consultants.

The role requires excellent customer service, organisation and data-entry accuracy, with experience in residential lettings or customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential lettings, estate agency or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent data-entry and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Enquiry Management: handle enquiries via phone and email, be first contact for prospective tenants, respond promptly with high service levels, identify suitable properties, discuss affordability, maintain CRM records.
• Customer Experience: communicate benefits of homes, build rapport, provide clear information, manage expectations, represent the organisation professionally.
• Viewing Coordination: schedule and coordinate property viewings, liaise with tenants, optimise viewing schedules, follow up after viewings, keep systems updated.
• Lettings Administration: support lettings team, respond to queries, communicate info to stakeholders, assist day-to-day processes, identify process improvements.
