Job summary

Hyde Group in Peterborough is seeking an Empty Homes & Lettings Officer to oversee void notices and manage the end-to-end lettings process, ensuring adverts are accurate and doors reopen quickly.

You will work with the Property Maintenance and income teams to prepare homes, conduct viewings, sign offers, and coordinate recharges, while keeping Northgate updated and delivering a high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and support customers in a helpful and responsive way.
• Proficient in using IT systems and software to support effective service delivery.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate customer records and property information on Northgate.
• Where required, carry out application interviews, affordability checks, sending offer letters.
• Ability to carry out viewings and signups and associated referrals and paperwork.
• Work productively with the Lettings team to co-ordinate and manage customers moving in and out of their homes based on the agreed process, anticipating customer needs to ensure an effortless service is delivered.
• Review and co-ordinate any repair recharges and liaise with Income Services to implement these.
• Prepare and organize empty homes for lettings, including the placing of adverts, whilst ensuring a consistent high quality of work.
