Job summary

Harrison Holidays is seeking a part-time Leisure Team Member to help run pool and gym areas, assist guests, and maintain safety and cleanliness across facilities.

You will greet guests, process reservations, monitor safety protocols, and respond to incidents while upholding our values of family, sustainability, integrity and quality. Flexible hours include Monday evenings and Tuesday day.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure safety and adherence to facility rules.
• Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including water quality checks, cleaning, and equipment setup.
• Respond promptly to pool-related incidents or emergencies and follow established protocols.
• Provide assistance to guests using the gym, answering questions, and offering guidance on equipment usage.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized gym environment, including equipment sanitisation and storage.
• Greet and assist guests, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
• Process reservations and cancellations for the facilities.
• Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide information requested.
• Enforce safety regulations and respond promptly to emergencies, following established procedures.
• Stay current on first aid and CPR certifications, applying knowledge as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool and gym areas, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to address cleanliness and functionality concerns.
• Work closely with other leisure team members and supervisors to ensure seamless facility operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Any other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Company.
• Promote and maintain a safe working culture across the park at all times
• Ensure compliance with all company health and safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate and enforce safe working practices
• Ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required
• Report and manage all accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised working environment
