Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager for a single leisure site in Belfast. You will take ownership of the cleaning operation, drive standards, lead a team and liaise with the client and management.

You'll be hands-on, manage rotas, monitor KPIs, and ensure health & safety compliance while delivering exceptional cleanliness across the site. The role offers a 30-35 hour week and a £30,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Cleaning Manager, Site Manager, Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience managing cleaning teams.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day cleaning operation across the leisure site.
• Lead, motivate and support the cleaning team.
• Plan rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct regular quality checks and site inspections.
• Maintain high cleaning and presentation standards.
• Manage client relationships and respond to issues.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and service standards.
• Support recruitment, training and onboarding of cleaning staff.
