Job summary

VanRath is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for night shifts to lead a team across facilities in the Belfast area. You will oversee induction, training, performance, and safety, while ensuring client satisfaction and smooth operation.

The ideal candidate has supervisory cleaning experience, strong IT skills, a full driving licence, and budget awareness, with clear communication and a commitment to Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in cleaning across multiple sectors.
• Strong IT skills, including HR systems, payroll, and audit tools.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
• Health & Safety knowledge and basic statutory training.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all staff induction and training, ensuring compliance and identifying retraining needs.
• Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues in line with company policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Address client queries promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and cover arrangements.
• Identify areas for operational improvement to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct weekly meetings with Operations Managers and interface with clients for KPI reporting.
