Job summary

Marine Resources, on behalf of an established leisure marine manufacturer, seeks a Sales Manager to drive growth of UK and export markets, combining new business development, account management and commercial planning.

Based at the Malvern office, you will travel UK and internationally up to 50% of your time, building relationships, shaping strategy, and coordinating with marketing, product development and service teams to deliver strong sales results.

Qualifications

• Requires strong technical sales background in leisure marine.
• Experience in account management, business development and export sales is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop UK and export sales within the leisure marine market toward targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and secure new business.
• Create a structured customer contact and visit plan to progress opportunities.
• Follow up quotations with customer visits, providing technical guidance and understanding requirements.
• Maintain a business plan covering key accounts, target customers and the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with marketing to deliver promotional activity and raise sector awareness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Feed customer and market insights into product development and commercial strategy.
• Work with sales operations to support customer service and delivery.
• Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions and customer meetings.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly sales activity and performance reports.
