Job summary

Kenilworth School And Sixth Form is seeking a Senior Leisure & Lettings Coordinator to lead the Leisure & Lettings team, coordinate daily services and ensure high standards for community use of facilities at the Kenilworth site.

You will manage Pitchbooking, supervise coordinators, deliver school holiday programmes, and work with the CFO on budgeting and KPI reporting, while upholding safeguarding and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of Leisure & Lettings services.
• Ensure that the centre meets its Trust and community objectives.
• Manage and maintain the Pitchbooking system, including the schedule of community bookings and workload of instructors.
• Delivery of School Holiday programmes.
• Line management and supervision of KMAT Leisure & Lettings Coordinators, including weekly staff rotas and staff appraisals.
• Ensure Leisure & Lettings staff deliver high standards of performance at all times.
• Conduct daily and weekly inspections of facilities to ensure a top customer experience and compliance with standards.
• Communicate and consult with community users and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• Monitor health and safety standards, oversee maintenance and cleaning within the Centre.
• Market KMAT Leisure & Lettings via social media and other channels.
• Attend termly Leisure & Lettings Committee meetings and prepare reports in advance.
• Inform Site Manager of maintenance and repair issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the CFO and KMAT Finance team to resolve finance queries related to Pitchbooking and budgeting.
• Monitor and report KPIs with support from the KMAT CFO.
• Liaise with external bodies (e.g., Sport England, the Council, club coaches) and schools within the Trust to support lettings and new income opportunities.
• Support the KMAT Leisure and Lettings team and raise its profile in the community.
• Record all accidents and near misses using the KMAT portal.
• Safeguard children and manage safeguarding risks between community and school usage during the school week.
