Job summary

Coaching Inn Group is seeking a Leisure Club Manager to oversee our gym, pool and spa operations at our York hotel. You will manage a small team, design personalised fitness programs, and coordinate pool activities for guests and local members.

This full-time role requires flexible weekends/evenings and reports to the Hotel General Manager. You should be a qualified pool responder with experience in pool and gym management and a strong focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified pool responder with relevant lifeguard or pool safety certification.
• Experience managing pool and gym facilities within a hotel or leisure club.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations for pools, gyms and spa areas.
• Ability to design and supervise personal fitness programs for guests and members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym, pool and spa operations for hotel guests and local members.
• Lead and develop a small leisure club team.
• Advise on equipment use and safety; maintain high safety standards.
• Design personalised fitness programs; organise pool activities and classes.
• Report to Hotel General Manager and collaborate with hotel departments.

is now looking for Leisure Club Manager to oversee our gym, pool and spa operation at .

With facilities available to our hotel guests and the vibrant local membership we are looking for an individual to help, support and develop our leisure club for both guests and members alike. Managing a small team you will have the ability to support and advise on the use of equipment in the fitness gym, design personalised fitness programs, support with organising and managing pool activities and classes .

You will be a qualified pool responder and have experience of managing pool and gym facilities, know and understand all the health and safety requirements of safe operation and will be keen to provide a first class experience for all the leisure club users. You will have had experience of leading and supervising a small team and be keen to develop a first class experience for our members and hotel guests. This is a full time role working 5 days out of 7, it will include some weekend and evening work but rota's can be flexible. You will report to the Hotel General Manager.
