Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking a proactive Leisure Centre Assistant to support our centres in Fortrose and across the area. You will promote a collaborative culture, assist with activities, maintain equipment, and deliver friendly customer care to users of our leisure facilities.

Responsibilities include health and safety compliance, training participation, environmental stewardship, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. A PVG check is required for this post.

Qualifications

• Promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Comply with Health & Safety recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all areas.
• Carry out routine equipment maintenance.
• Provide first aid if qualified.
• Attend training and achieve relevant qualifications.
• PVG check is required.
• Be friendly and provide excellent customer care.

Responsibilities

• Organise/lead activities and classes as directed by management.
• Set out and take down equipment and ensure safety standards.
• General cleaning and upkeep of all areas.
• Assist with maintenance of leisure centre fittings.
• Support cross-functional projects within the Leisure team.
• Promote HLH membership benefits to users.
