Job summary

Serco Group Plc operates at Lilleshall National Sports Centre and seeks an Operations Assistant to help run a safe, welcoming leisure environment, delivering high-quality customer service and supporting daily operations. As a part-time position (21 hours/week), the role supports early, late, weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy leisure, hospitality or customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to complete training and maintain required qualifications.
• A positive and flexible approach with ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer safety at all times and respond to incidents.
• Supervise dryside activities with high safety and cleanliness standards.
• Set up, move and handle equipment to support programmed activities.
• Carry out cleaning and maintain high presentation in changing rooms and toilets.
• Monitor customer behaviour and address unsafe practices promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service with knowledge of facilities and activities.
