Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking an enthusiastic, approachable Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a warm welcome and excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll handle enquiries, bookings and memberships face-to-face, online and by phone, operate booking and till systems, and provide up-to-date information on facilities, classes and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role in leisure, fitness or community settings.
• Comfortable using till systems and handling cash/card payments.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment.
• Proactive, flexible and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome at reception and deliver excellent service.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and memberships face-to-face, online and by phone.
• Operate booking, till and membership systems and provide centre information.
• Maintain a tidy reception area and support events and activities.
• Participate in relevant training and ongoing professional development.
