Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a friendly and customer-focused Receptionist to join our front-of-house team at facilities across England and Wales. You’ll welcome visitors, handle enquiries, bookings and memberships, and operate till and membership systems with accuracy.

This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours, training and development, and benefits such as staff discounts, an Employee Assistance Programme, and paid annual leave. Prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing experience in leisure, fitness or community services.
• Hospitality or retail experience is a plus.
• Friendly, approachable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all visitors with a smile in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and memberships face-to-face, online and by phone.
• Accurately operate booking, till and membership systems.
• Provide up-to-date information on centre facilities, classes and promotions.
• Maintain a tidy, inviting reception area and ensure high standards of presentation.
