Brio Leisure centres are community fitness hubs where anyone and everyone can get active, whether it’s in the gym, swimming pool, a fitness class or playing racquet sports. Leisure Attendants are the friendly faces in yellow and red that you see around the building, and we’re looking for new people to join the team and help keep the centres running smoothly.
As a Leisure Attendant, you’ll be supervising our customers in the swimming pool and all other areas of the centre, ensuring their safety and using your lifesaving skills to rescue swimmers in difficulty. Away from the pool, you’ll be setting up and taking down sports equipment as required for events. You’ll also be answering customer queries and directing them around the building, so a friendly nature and good communication skills are important!
In addition to the above, the postholder will undertake Relief Duty Manager responsibilities, as and when required, to ensure the building security, opening/locking up all areas as per the facility programme ensuring the company policy and procedures and Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times. An upper rate of pay will be applied when undertaking such responsibilities.
This is a fun role that would suit an energetic person, as you’ll be working with the public throughout the day. It’s a perfect fit for any lifestyle too, whether you’re earning some extra cash while studying, or looking for a productive way to spend your time during retirement.
