Mitie is seeking a customer focused Leisure Assistant to ensure the safety of all users at East Leake Leisure Centre. The role is part-time with a permanent contract and involves lifeguarding, cleaning, setting up sports equipment and administering first aid.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid NPLQ and be willing to attend monthly lifeguard training. A DBS check and satisfactory references are required for employment at Mitie.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NPLQ and be enthusiastic about lifeguard training on a monthly basis.
• Customer-focused and able to work as part of a team and individually.
• Able to perform cleaning and basic first aid duties and comply with safety procedures.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety of all Leisure Centre users, with emphasis on pool users.
• Perform lifeguarding, cleaning and setting up sports equipment.
• Administer first aid as required and support line manager with tasks.

We are looking for a customer focused Leisure Assistant to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all users of the Leisure Centre, with particular attention being made to those utilising the pool facilities.

You will be required to work as part of a team and individually to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lifeguarding, setting up sports equipment, administering first aid. You will also be expected to complete additional duties assigned to you by your line manager.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and will be enthusiastic in attending lifeguard training on a monthly basis.
