Job summary

NEDDC is seeking a Part Time Leisure Attendant (Lifeguard) at Eckington Active, S21 4DA. You will help ensure a safe, welcoming pool and support gym areas, classes, and events.

We value a confident team player who is physically fit and passionate about fitness. An Enhanced DBS check is required; training and development are supported.

Qualifications

• A confident, team player who loves helping people.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment.
• Good understanding of sports and fitness.
• RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (10th Edition) – essential!

Responsibilities

• Keep swimmers safe and happy in the pool.
• Assist in gym and changing areas.
• Set up equipment for classes and events.
• Promote activities and events at the centre.
• Be a go-to person for customers of all ages.

Hours: 25.50 hours per week

Salary: Grade 5, £26,847 - £27,709 per annum (£13.92 to £14.36 per hour)
