Job summary

The Warren in Pwllheli is seeking Leisure Assistants and Lifeguards for a seasonal, fixed-term role with variable hours. You’ll contribute to safe, clean, and enjoyable leisure facilities across our pools and activities.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for in-house lifeguard training. We value proactive team players with strong guest service skills who can work weekends and evenings in a beautiful UK setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Deliver engaging activity sessions for guests.
• Set up and pack away leisure equipment between activities.
• Maintain cleanliness across leisure facilities, including pools.
• Assist guests with general enquiries for a positive experience.
• Lifeguard indoor/outdoor pools and respond to emergencies when qualified.

What You’ll Do

As aLeisure Assistant – Lifeguard, you will:

• Ensure all health and safety standardsare followed and upheld at all times
• Deliver engaging activity sessions, ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience
• Set up and pack away leisure equipmentefficiently between activities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standardsacross the leisure facilities, including pool areas
• Support guests with general enquiriesand ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities
• Lifeguard our indoor and/or outdoor swimming pools, ensuring the safety of all guests and responding to emergencies as required (dependant on qualifications)

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking aresponsible, proactive team playerwho is passionate about guest safety and leisure activities. You’ll have:

• A Valid NPLQ Certificate(desirable)with the opportunity of an in-house lifeguard course being providedfor the right candidates
• Strong communication skillsand the ability to engage with guests of all ages
• A positive, professional attitudewith great teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• A flexible approachto working hours, including weekends and evenings

Desirable Skills

• Previous activity leadership experience(Desirable)
• GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification(Desirable)
