Haulfryn is seeking Leisure Assistants and Lifeguards at The Warren to keep pools and leisure facilities safe, clean, and enjoyable for guests. This seasonal, fixed-term contract includes a range of perks and the chance to gain valuable experience in the leisure industry.

The role offers a dynamic environment, opportunities for training, and a supportive team. Applicants should be flexible with hours, including weekends and evenings, with NPLQ certification desirable.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Valid NPLQ certificate.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Desirable: GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and upheld at all times.
• Deliver engaging activity sessions, ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience.
• Set up and pack away leisure equipment efficiently between activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the leisure facilities, including pool areas.
• Support guests with general enquiries and ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities.
• Lifeguard our indoor and/or outdoor swimming pools, ensuring the safety of all guests and responding to emergencies as required.
