Job summary

Finlake Holiday Park is seeking a Go Active Activity Instructor to lead a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and provide excellent guest service. The role covers weekends and peak periods with a flexible, seasonal contract.

You will deliver activities such as archery, paintball and woodland adventures while ensuring safety and a welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering outdoor or indoor leisure activities.
• Strong communication skills with guests of all ages.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
• Energy, enthusiasm and a passion for helping others make memories.
• Flexible working hours and weekend availability.
• NPLQ certificate is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, safe, and structured activities such as archery and water activities.
• Deliver high standard of customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and safe.
• Set up, maintain, and clean activity equipment following health and safety procedures.
• Promote participation and coordinate with the leisure team to deliver the timetable.
• Support the smooth delivery of the activities programme.

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Hours: Variable hour to cover off-peak weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, with increased hours during our peak months

What You’ll Do

As a Go Active Activity Instructor, you will:

• Lead fun, safe, and structured activities like archery, target paintball, water activites, and woodland adventures
• Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome, supported, and safe
• Set up, maintain, and clean activity equipment while following all health and safety procedures
• Promote participation, encouraging guests to try new things and get involved in the full activity timetable
• Support the smooth delivery of our activities programme, working collaboratively with the wider leisure team

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing team player with:

• Experience in delivering outdoor or indoor leisure activities
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to engage with people of all ages
• An understanding of health and safety practices
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others make lasting memories
  A valid NPLQ certificate (beneficial but not essential)
  A flexible approach to working hours and weekend availability
