Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd seeks a Legal Trainer / Coach to deliver remote coaching for learners pursuing Legal Apprenticeships (Paralegal, Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive). This role includes mentoring, guiding progression, and preparing learners for End Point Assessments.

Flexibility to travel for meetings is required, and you will support learners across the legal sector with strong maths and English skills. The position is full-time and permanent, with remote delivery as the core mode.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as Paralegal or Solicitor in a law firm.
• Qualified legal professional with Paralegal/Solicitor background.
• Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues in a legal setting.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Confident with Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners working towards Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.
• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to complete their Apprenticeship.
• Offer IAG and provide encouraging support and guidance to learners throughout their learning journey.
• Identify barriers to learning and ensure learners access additional delivery routes.
• Carry out timely progression reviews, set SMART targets and ensure timely completion of the Apprenticeship.
• Prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Essential Criteria:

• Candidates must have experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years' minimum) or as a Solicitor within a Law Firm
• Must be a qualified Legal professional, with experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years minimum) or Solicitor within a Law Firm.
• Experience of mentoring or coaching colleagues within a legal setting.
• Must be flexible with travel as needed.
• Confident with Maths and English.

Duties include:

• Coach and mentor learners working towards their Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.
• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within their role, and to complete their Apprenticeship.
