Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Legal Trainer / Coach to deliver apprenticeship coaching to learners aiming for Paralegal, Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive qualifications. The role is remote/online with occasional travel for meetings and assessments.

You must be a qualified legal professional with at least four years’ experience as a Paralegal or as a Solicitor, plus proven mentoring or coaching skills. You will support learners through their Apprenticeships, conduct progression reviews, and

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners pursuing Legal Apprenticeships (Paralegal, Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive).
• Help learners develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to complete the Apprenticeship.
• Provide information, advice and guidance throughout the learning journey.
• Identify barriers to learning and facilitate access to delivery routes.
• Conduct progression reviews, set SMART targets and track progress to End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain learner progress documentation.

Candidates must have experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years’ minimum) or as a Solicitor within a Law Firm.

Location: Remote / Online (with occasional travel for meetings)

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Must be a qualified Legal professional, with experience of working asa Paralegal(4 years minimum) or Solicitor within a Law Firm.

• Experience of mentoring or coaching colleagues within a legal setting.

• Must be flexible with travel as needed.

• Confident with Maths and English.

Dutiesinclude:

• Coach and mentor learners working towards their Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.

• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within their role, and to complete their Apprenticeship.
• Offer IAG and provide encouraging support and guidance to your learners throughout their learning journey.
• Identify any barriers to learning, and ensure learners are accessing any additional delivery routes available to them.
• Carry out timely progression reviews, set SMART targets and ensure timely achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.
• Prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
