Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Legal Trainer/Coach to coach and mentor learners on Legal Apprenticeship programmes (Paralegal; Solicitor; Chartered Legal Executive). The role is remote with occasional meetings requiring travel, and offers a salary of £32,000–£35,000 depending on skills and experience.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified legal professional with at least 4 years as a Paralegal or Solicitor, with mentoring experience and strong Maths and English. Full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Qualified legal professional with Paralegal experience of at least 4 years or Solicitor within a Law Firm.
• Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues in a legal setting.
• Must be flexible with travel as needed.
• Confident with Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners working towards their Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.
• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within their role, and to complete their Apprenticeship.
• Offer information, advice and guidance and provide encouraging support throughout the learning journey.
• Identify barriers to learning and ensure learners can access additional delivery routes.
• Carry out timely progression reviews, set SMART targets and ensure timely achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.
• Prepare and support learners through End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
