Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Legal Trainer / Coach to remotely mentor learners on Legal Apprenticeships such as Paralegal and Solicitor tracks. The role includes coaching, developing knowledge, and guiding learners toward successful apprenticeship outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a legally qualified professional with paralegal (4+ years) or solicitor experience.
• Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues in a legal setting.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.
• Confident with Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners working towards their Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.
• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within their role, and complete their Apprenticeship.
• Offer IAG and provide encouraging support and guidance to learners throughout their learning journey.
• Identify barriers to learning and ensure learners access additional delivery routes.
• Carry out timely progression reviews, set SMART targets and ensure timely achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.
• Prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Essential Criteria:

• Candidates must have experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years' minimum) or as a Solicitor within a Law Firm
• Must be a qualified Legal professional, with experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years minimum) or Solicitor within a Law Firm.
• Experience of mentoring or coaching colleagues within a legal setting.
• Must be flexible with travel as needed.
• Confident with Maths and English.
