Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Legal Trainer/Coach to deliver remote instruction with occasional travel for meetings. You will coach learners toward Legal Apprenticeships (Paralegal, Solicitor, and Chartered Legal Executive) and guide them through progression and End Point Assessment.

The role requires a qualified legal professional with at least four years’ Paralegal or Solicitor experience and demonstrated mentoring ability; travel flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as Paralegal (min 4 years) or Solicitor in a law firm.
• Mentoring or coaching colleagues in a legal setting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings.
• Confident with Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners working towards their Legal Apprenticeship programmes: Paralegal; Solicitor and Chartered Legal Executive.
• Ensure learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within their role, and to complete their Apprenticeship.
• Offer IAG and provide encouraging support and guidance to your learners throughout their learning journey.
• Identify barriers to learning, and ensure learners access additional delivery routes.
• Carry out timely progression reviews, set SMART targets and ensure timely achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.
• Prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Essential Criteria:

• Candidates must have experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years' minimum) or as a Solicitor within a Law Firm
• Must be a qualified Legal professional, with experience of working as a Paralegal (4 years minimum) or Solicitor within a Law Firm.
• Experience of mentoring or coaching colleagues within a legal setting.
• Must be flexible with travel as needed.
• Confident with Maths and English.
