Job summary

Sellick Partnership is looking for a Case Management Developer in Birmingham with hybrid working options. You will build and maintain the firm's case management systems, aligning technical solutions with legal workflows.

The role requires strong experience in case management platforms, APIs and data integration, plus SQL and programming skills (.NET/C#/JavaScript/PowerShell). Collaborate across IT, legal and business teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in case management system development ideally across iManage, Proclaim, SOS or VisualFiles.
• Experience in legal technology or professional services is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data exchange.
• Familiarity with development and automation technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain case management systems and related applications.
• Design and implement solutions to support legal and business processes.
• Work with fee earners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop workflows, forms, templates, integrations, reports and automated processes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology.
• Integrate case management platforms with other business systems and applications.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, releases and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure solutions are robust, secure, scalable and aligned with the firm's technical standards.
• Produce technical documentation and maintain system records.
• Work with internal IT teams and external technology suppliers.
