Legal IT Project Manager - Leeds

A leading law firm in central Leeds is seeking a Legal IT Project Manager with experience in legal software project management and a proven track record of delivering new legal software projects. Relevant platforms include iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar DMS, PMS, or CMS systems.

This role offers hybrid working, with 1 or 2 days in the Leeds office.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a major software upgrade program across nearly the entire software suite, including a new Practice Management System (PMS), Document Management System, and Case Management System. Experience in implementing cloud-based legal or finance applications, or replacing/upgrading legacy systems, is essential.

Experience required:

1. Proven experience delivering medium to high complexity IT projects within Legal Applications & Cloud Services, including Practice Management, Document Management, and Case Management Systems.
2. Previous roles as an IT Project Manager or Senior Business Analyst, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
3. Strong aptitude for quickly learning new software applications.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with legal applications such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar platforms is advantageous.
6. Experience working within the legal industry is a plus.

The role:

1. Manage the delivery of medium to high complexity IT projects across applications and cloud services, covering all lifecycle stages.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
3. Coordinate with third-party IT providers to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Drive the implementation and adoption of software solutions, ensuring smooth integration into workflows.
5. Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and resource allocation.
