IT Project Manager - Legal - Leeds

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in legal software project management to join a leading law firm in central Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering new legal software projects, such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar platforms, including DMS, PMS, or CMS systems.

This role offers hybrid working, requiring 1 or 2 days per week in the Leeds office. You will participate in a significant software upgrade program covering almost the entire software suite, including new Practice Management, Document Management, and Case Management systems. Experience with implementing cloud-based legal or finance applications, or upgrading legacy systems, is essential.

Experience required:

• Proven experience managing medium to high complexity IT projects within legal applications and cloud services, including PMS, DMS, or case management systems.
• Previous roles as an IT Project Manager or Senior Business Analyst, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong ability to learn new software applications quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with legal applications like iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Experience working within the legal industry is a plus.

The role:

• Manage the delivery of medium to high complexity IT projects across applications and cloud services, covering all lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
• Work with third-party IT providers to ensure project success.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of new software solutions, ensuring seamless integration into workflows.
• Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and resource needs.
