Job Summary
The role will report to, and work closely with, the General Counsel and Head of HR to provide support across their respective areas. The role involves managing detailed document files, handling contract and HR matters, and performing administrative tasks.
Job Description
Key duties and responsibilities
Legal
- Assist the General Counsel in managing theatre agreements with show producers, supplier agreements, ticketing arrangements, confidentiality agreements, standard terms and conditions, and other legal matters.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for all routine contracts, including record keeping (hard copy and electronic), and follow up with stakeholders and third parties regarding outstanding matters.
- Support ad-hoc legal and commercial issues, including disputes and litigation.
- Conduct research and develop expertise on legal and regulatory topics.
HR
- Support recruitment processes: review job descriptions, place ads, schedule interviews, check references, and prepare offer letters and contracts using standard templates.
- Assist in managing the HR & Payroll system, including onboarding, leave management, and recruitment support, advising managers as needed.
- Help with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including issuing reference letters, collecting personal info, contracts, and verifying right to work in the UK.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support disciplinary and grievance meetings.
- Oversee HR record-keeping and system maintenance in line with company policy.
- Assist in developing and administering training programs for management and leadership.

- Legal background with practical or academic experience, such as a law degree or vocational qualifications (e.g., CPE, LPC, GDL).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
