Royal London is seeking a positive, driven, and solution-focused candidate to join its Legal Team. The Legal Team provides advice across the entire Royal London Group, and in this role, you will support our growing legal team within a culture-first business with an exciting strategy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal Operations, the successful candidate will join an established PA to provide proactive, best-in-class executive assistant support to the General Counsel and Legal Leadership Team. You will be part of the Legal Operations Team, responsible for ensuring the wider Legal Team operates efficiently and effectively.

About the role
  1. Provide high-quality executive assistant/business management support to the General Counsel and Legal Senior Leadership Team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with the Head of Legal Operations and General Counsel in managing the operational aspects of the Legal Function.
  3. Support the General Counsel and Legal Senior Leadership Team in ad-hoc projects to shape the strategic direction of the Legal function.
  4. Coordinate priorities and oversee activities delivered by the PA to the General Counsel, ensuring high-quality support.
  5. Act as a key contact for the General Counsel and Legal Senior Leadership Team, building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
  • Experience supporting a General Counsel or senior legal leadership in an in-house legal environment.
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint); experience with MS Forms, Power BI, Power Automate is a plus.
