Job description

Our client is a leading financial services company seeking a Legal Counsel to join their highly regarded in-house legal team. This broad and varied position offers opportunities for progression and development.

Based in London, the company offers a hybrid working model, with a preference for team members to work in the office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the business on a range of legal matters such as commercial contracts, data protection, corporate, and employment issues.
• Possess a background in financial services regulatory compliance.
• Ideally have exposure to structured finance transactions.
• Have post-qualification experience gained in a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal team.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a commercial/business outlook in your work.

We envisage that candidates with between 2-6 years PQE will have the relevant skills and knowledge for this position. However, this is an approximate guide, and our client is open to considering candidates outside this PQE range who possess the relevant experience.
