About the Role:
You will contribute to the business by building your own personal brand across your internal stakeholders, which will include compliance, finance, advertising and market. You'll be tasked with negotiating and reviewing complex, business-critical commercial agreements, including advertising, technology, procurement and supply agreements, while advising on how to mitigate risk across the business. You'll further support the compliance team and DPO in relation to data privacy matters, including data transfers, GDPR compliance, internal policy compliance and DSARs. Additionally, you will advise internal teams in relation to advertising, marketing and promotional matters, including ASA compliance. Working within a small but highly influential legal function, you'll proactively dive into the business as a trusted advisor.
About You:
You'll be a commercial lawyer with in-house experience, qualified in E&W or another major common law jurisdiction and as a guide, 5+ PQE. You'll need unrestricted working rights in the UK. You will have demonstrable and sustained experience with a broad range of commercial contracts negotiation/review, and you must also have workable knowledge of data privacy matters, including cross-border data transfers. Knowledge of advertising and marketing matters will be keenly appreciated. You will be able to travel to the West London offices a few times a week in a hybrid working set up.
